This is my first post, so im pretty new to all this.

I know this question has been asked before but have spent nearly a day looking for suppliers and not much luck on the forum!! computers arnt my thing, Any help would a great help.

Thanks!.

You could try Andy Collins on here (dont know weather he'll have any) i think the last thread i saw that he was involved in he said he was selling at £55 per tonne rideside i don't know if that was inc vat or not, then you would have to sort out your own transport at another £10 per tonne plus vat (roughly). You could also try billy boy on here, i quoted him for a bulk load of logs this week but i was to expensive, he told me in a pm that he had been quoted alot less to buy in cordwood than i can buy it for:sneaky2:hope this helps.

Hi Will, whereabouts in Suffolk are you..??

We are in the process of clearing out our yard at the moment of all the mixed hardwoods we have, everything is being split and put into 1m3 vented log bags that we have had from Bag Supplies in Cumbria. We are constantly checking the moisture content and quite a lot of it

is already around the 20% mark, we'll probably end up with about

100 or 150m3 and I'm more than willing to do a good deal to clear it all out.

After that I'm intending to produce logs on a wholesale basis, I've secured a supply of 2000 tonnes of predominatly beech with some ash and oak as well, and I will be looking to meet up with people who have retail operations and want a constant supply of processed logs in bulk.

If any of this is of interest let me know and we can have a chat.
