Hows the log sales going now

Any timber we dont sell this year can wait till next. I think a few people will be getting burnt fingers this year. Its more by luck than planning we are not one of them. There is still time for some cold weather so we are no where near finished with the season yet.

There is plenty of time for some real cold weather yet, I believe the legendary harsh winter of 1963 did not start until January.

 

I remember when I was a lad we went cycle camping in the easter holidays and got a foot of snow over night.

No orders at all this week, apart from one for a fellow arbtalk member. Although im not too fussed as I wanted to have this week off.

 

It was mental busy this week and one before christmas last year, as others have said numerous times, mild weather and have a go harry's have slowed the pace down some what.

3 bulk bags out today. Sold 1 to a local bloke who works on a farm! Never thought someone like him would buy wood, but his mrs said shes fed up of him bringing piles of wood round that just wont burn!! Very pleased with the product too which is nice! When is the cold weather going to hit? Im down to a small stack at my yard as i just cant get into the wood to extract my other loads!! Going to be in trouble if i get a load of orders next week. Got 2 big adverts going out too!
