Been slow over Christmas, just to warm and very low heating oil price not helping I suppose. Had a good run with kindling and log nets though.

Does anyone know if the weather is going to get colder in the new year because it hasnt shown any signs of doing so, and even down south where theres been no flooding its still been raining regularly and its been heavy. Not to mention some of the strong winds we've had.

normally january is the coldest month but who knows what will happen, just feel sorry for those who have been flooded, so nevermind colder for log sales maybe we [mainly myself haha] should be saying drier for those poor sods up north! just out of intrest has anyone on here been seriously effected by the wet weather?

Not serious in comparison to others, but we have been unable to leave yard due to floods few times, and one day floods were washing logs out of the hardwood barn, down the road! just glad it did not come into house. work cancelled last week as sites too wet, hoping we can get on next week, though it still looks wet on forecast.
