Does a lot of our wood go to France? Only reason I ask is my dad lives there and says he pays about €40 for a van filled with seasoned oak lengths from a saw mill he reckons it equates to over 2m3 when cut up.

 

Strange that wood is so cheap when it is so expensive to live over there.

HI STEVE im told in jersey the soft wood rate there is double in price to our here and heres are soft wood to thanks jon :thumbup:

 

I've got customers in guernsey buying from scotland said couldnt get good quality down there one tried buying french logs said he got garbage and hes been buying from me now 5-6 years.

HI CHRIS we need it cold mate for a time not only to sale BUT TO DRY OUT THE GROUND THANKS JON :thumbup:

 

 

same here jon fields are still wet we need some east winds now for a month dry it out log sales are very slow here too warm still thanks andrew :thumbup::thumbup:
