I honestly do not believe customers want logs that:-

 

A) Do not burn well

 

B) His with steam escaping from the log killing the fire

 

c) As result have their stove glass, doors & flues coated with corrosive tar

 

D) Guaranteed chimney fires

 

E) Poor if any heat from the wet fuel

 

F) A overall bad experience all due to the seller selling them unseasoned / semi seasoned firewood

Sorry I haven't almost all sell there waste fresh green wood as burnables logs to a unsuspecting public.

 

But your very first post on here said you sold lay landis which is the most dirty burning wood you can get even if bone dry it's full of glue like sap. We have about 80t a year it all goes for waste ie bonfire. I would rather have an ash log at 25% than lay landis at 17. Plus a laylandi log would turn to dust if left for two years.:sneaky2::001_smile:

where in the country are you based?

 

i see you sell poplar and alder what sort of prices are you gettin " i sell cheap" and what happens when your free supply of wood runs out you wont be able to sell cheap?

give us some info on your setup please. what are your costs

i can add to my earlier quote

Im one of the many tree surgeons that sell good quility seasoned logs

and in 23 years of business have never sold leylandii ever!!!:biggrin::biggrin:
