Hi all,

An old uni housemate of mine who is now an architect has asked me if I can identify this tree for him, and I'm not too sure. Anyone got any ideas? He's emailed through the pics, which is all I have to work with - I'm 200 miles plus away from the actual tree!

cheers,

Joe

Ask him to crack open that fruit/nutlet, my pound is on walnut

How'd you want to pay me my pound?

Walnuts have pinnate leaves and the fruit are on very short pedicles (stems)..
