Depends what you want it for MB tracs work well on good sites. They lack the clearance and tyre size of a county or similar for climbing steep rocky/stumpy ground.

True, but then that machine doesnt work....now way of telling what condition that one is in either. Probably worth a punt if one has facilities to do the work...

i know, sorry it was a bit tongue in cheek, i think they are dear to sort if they have problems, its probably had a hard life, and not very powerful, also are they all on air systems like unimogs, such as clutch breaks etc which can be a real headache

The bit that says 'tractor can sometimes jump of reverse'............that may well prove to be VERY expensive.....

Got a similar problem with a massy. Thats about a 3k repair.

Looks pretty tidy but at only 110hp and been used for mulching I'd say it could have had quite a hard life.

I think there being very optimistic at 110hp. A standard MB Trac 800 is approx 75hp with a standard turbo it becomes a MB Trac 900 at approx 85hp. To get 110hp you would need to start with a 6 cyl MB Trac and fit a turbo.

Was this not advertised 6-9 months ago I seem to remember a similar thread.
