Distel

I used to use a distel on my lanyard,8mm stein copious eye to eye cord and 8mm teufel berger eye to eye cord.Both were good but i found the distel locked up and was hard to advance or disengage when wet.

Ive also used the distel on the hitch climber setup- 8mm boa and 10mm(i think) marlow viper.

It was great hitch but i progressed to mechanicals,zigzag and art positioner and havent looked back.Ive had other lanyards and setups ive mentioned previously.Distel with 4 turns.

Darrin, have you tried using a double sheave pulley in your set up posted above? I was wondering if the hitch cords in the other sheave would advance it up the other hitch cord.

Hello Brocky l don't actually use this setup it's just something I've seen. I try not to use hitches , i use a Spiderjack or a trango cinch for simple srt.
