I have been asked by a good client of mine to buy her a ride on for approximately £2500.

I have been in touch with both my local suppliers and its either a john Deere x165 or a husqvarna yth183t with mulch kit.

If anyone has any experience of either of these machines or have views on them please say as I know nothing about either machine.

Thanks

cant go wrong with a john deere

I think the cheaper john deere mowers are made by sabre had one years ago ok for small home owner. But saying that i thought husqvarna made fly mow hard choice . In my opinion you would be better off getting a good second hand etesia hydro 80 your budget would allow you to get a good one.

:dito: Wot he said.

That does lead to the question of what conditions it's likely to be used in though, how much work does it need to do? And even a new etesia does not look as slick and shiny as a JD, wich is quite an important factor for most gardens.

i will say husky as i am a husky fan but not for there mowers. what about a snaper re it is a tried and tested disigen, ours must be 30 years old but it is used and abused it has neaver given any problems just the the engine showing it age. they are one of the better things at picking up, and they are the easyiest ride on to work on as you can stand then up on there end

edit jd are good though but the snaper is just so simple
