Another Id needed please

No pic this time but it was a single plant, about 4 feet high with large leafs similar to rhubarb, and then a tall "flower" at the top, about 6-8" long, the flower was just brown. Any ideas please?

Reum palmatum is an ornamental rhubarb, doesnt fit the descroption, and giant hogweed is nowhere near the description!

It defo wasn't hogweed, I know what that one looks like. But the flower seemed higher up than the one in hams photo, perhaps a foot higher than the highest leaf?

oh, I missed that point, thought the flower was lower.

 

how does ruem flower?

Having googled some more pics it does seem like it was the rheum, I'm going to try and get back to the site tomos and get a pic of it.
