has anyone got any spec on this saw please :thumbup1:

These are the specs for the 201T lifted off the german stihl.de site, and translated using Google Translate:

Weight kg 1): 3,7

Power to weight ratio kg / kW: 2,1

Oilomatic STIHL saw chain pitch / type: 3 / 8 "P PS 3

Noise Level dB (A) 2): 98,0

Sound power level dB (A) 2): 114

Vibration left and right m / s ² 3): 3,5 / 3,1

For comparison, here are the equivalent specs for the 200T:

Capacity cm ³: 35,2

Output kW / hp: 1,7 / 2,3

Weight kg 1): 3,6

Power to weight ratio kg / kW: 2,1

Oilomatic STIHL saw chain pitch / type: 3 / 8 "P Picco Micro 1

Noise Level dB (A) 2): 98,0

Sound power level dB (A) 2): 109,0

Vibration left and right m / s ² 3): 3,4 / 3,8

1) Without bar / chain

2) K-factor according to the Directive 2006/42/EC = 2.5 (dB (A))

3) K-factor according to the Directive 2006/42/EC = 2 m / s ²

Looks like it runs on a new chain.

Which I understand means your existing 91VXL or Stihl Picco Micro chainsaw chain won't fit and you have to buy the new Stihl chain from a Stihl dealer until Oregon catch up.

So its heavier and produces less power and slighty more powerful noise, but vibrates less. Doesn't seem like much progress to me

But it meets the coming EU emissions legislations, so they will be able to sell it.

Its not Stihls fault.
