Flea bay seller

If someone gave you negative feedback without a good reason, I think you have a right to give them some grief. I bought some records of a guy a while ago, after being accused of not paying at first, then having to email once a fortnight to ask if he has sent them, getting a "sent them yesterday reply", then getting them in worse condition than described. I gave negative feedback instantly as he had lied to me and fobbed me off. He offered me a full refund and get to keep the records if I removed the negative feedback. I told him I wouldn't be bought as he has skanked me on numerous aspects, and has evidently done this to others. He has now left me negative feedback as I am hard to deal with apparently. Wish I replied to his feedback in the way the geezer did on ebay.

Nothing wrong with giving N feedback, just the wording creased me up, I now have him on my favourite sellers list just so I can keep up with his little gems.

I'm actually surprised he's allowed to use that kind of language on something like fleabay. I know on the kiwi version (trademe) you'd get booted off as a trader pretty quick sharpish as far as I'm aware if you started mouthing off like that. Surely this a place to keep somewhat of a civil tongue in your head?

I think it will be down to number, the UK population is huge compared to NZ, so unless stuff is reported it gets missed.

Ebay have now prevented the seller from leaving feed back, to prevent "tit for tat" feed back.

Only the buyer can now leave feed back.

But you can still reply to bad feedback that a buyer leaves.

Unfortunately, this purchase was through Discogs.com (a vinyl specialist).
