This question comes up now and again.

 

A phone is a tool, like anything else.

 

Abuse it and you will break it. Look after it and it will be ok.

 

I have a JCB phone with extra rubber which I keep in the middle of a straw bale strapped round my waist with a couple of old tyres hanging either side of it....

iphone, leather flip case, in the truck when I don't need it, in a dog-poo bag when I have to have it out in a pocket in the wet.

ive got a motorola defy it is billed by motorola as dust proof water proof and scratch proof ive had mine 8months and it still looks brand new! and i dont keep it in a big silly case it stays in my pocket all the time even when climbing in the rain or what ever, its a great mobile :thumbup1:
