Who knows. I think mink have been here in numbers for many decades. I once asked someone on a big estate nr us what he did about pest control, he said they dealt with the squirrels and the deer, but had given up on mink as they are travelers and go from site to site. Have seen a few this year. They seem to like getting rid of the American cray fish out of the pond, which is fine by me.
