regrettably, a mate of mine was done over near Southend in Essex between 1300 and 1600 on Easter sunday. He's lost all his saws, hedgetrimmers and polesaws..so be on the look out if you get offered any.

He's got a BIG guarddog but it was dozy as hell and had the two bob bits yesterday..obviously got fed something nasty. There will always be scumbags who take the tools off a hardworking man

As often as this is occuring I can not help to believe there is a pattern to these items being stolen with regular ease. Can anything be done to catch these people and have them do some really hard time for their crimes???. I hope your dog is felling better and that you will be able to recover your kit.

that is the root cause of the problem in the UK. there is very little "hard time" for scum that thieve tools from hard working folks.

even when caught they are unlikely to get a custodial sentence.

Hardcore violence is the only solution for scum like this!!!

My kinda thinking, you know before you report it that the police are going to be no help.

Law into your own hands is the only way I say. You take a chance doing it but those scum never worry about taking a chance and they seem to do alright out of it.

Anyone who posted a reply please for the sake of others that have had stolen kit now and in the future respond to firewood post about trying to secure a means of tracking stolen kit and catching these slim balls either in the act or with the stolen kit.

This is a real serious problem that must be stopped now.

Thank you for your support. If this is possible it will be a big win for the members and preservation of ones kit.

Thank you for your support.

The only hard time they will get is what happens when the lads or dogs catch them out in a yard. police aint interested round here.(lincolnshire)
