That looks like a good job to me mate!I couldn't tell from the pictures,but did you tie the wires to the Trunk of the tree? When I do jobs like that,I tie the wires to the trunk.It makes then a lot more sturdy in the event of getting somthing snagged on them.

 

Looked like a loverly garden to work in.Except for the access you mentioned.

well spotted, but no I didn't tie off the wires, thanks for the tip though ..from what I remember they were a couple of feet away from the trunk...tbh as close as they looked, they weren't much of an issue.

Very thick phone line and there's an insulator next to the building. What's the other line for?

the thin line goes to the insulator..probably just an anchor for the line as the pole is quite a distance away...I'm no expert though...but there were no power lines there mate. Not sure what the thick line is for...I'm sure someone will know though.

SBTC, I am not knocking your work in any way! Just looked like a power line in the photos to me. I am sure there will be somebody on here who can tell me what the lines are for and what they do etc?
