Took the dog for a walk around the farm and came across this heavily damaged Oak, no idea what happened to the beaut... any ideas?

 

It's infested with wasps... I got stung. Twice. In the neck. :thumbdown:

 

Interesting!!

 

Anybody seen wasps nesting inside a tree before?

 

Last summer I had a bees nest under a Norway Spruce!
