Flicking through a year old copy of FJ and noticed an ad for a Bandit 1850 HD 18" whole tree chipper with remote control and less than 500hrs for £15K, seemed cheap to me what do these big machines go for second hand??

seems the bigger you go, the lower the price gap. £ per inch the small tow behind machines are by far the most expensive second hand, but then the demand is there

Yes its my chipper its a Morbark Model 17 120hp turbo perkins chipper it weights about 3.5t and has run over brakes I would not want to sell mine unless it was a realy good offer.

 

Colin Z does still have his morbark for sale his i think is a model 18 same sort of size as mine slightly bigger engine. both will chip 17 inch
