Dean, my mate isn't coming in the landy this time its just me in my car. Is there somewhere to put my wheels without getting stuck?

Just go straght past the gate onto that top raod where we were climbing the trees and park it on the hardcored road at it's widest point or just on the grass verge opposite where the climbing trees were. There'll be enough 4x4s there to pull you out mate :001_tongue:

Sorry guys, due to work commitments i'm not free until 1600hrs. I am only an hour/hour & half away, but I guess most will have gone or be leaving by the time i could attend. So i won't be coming.

If you have another one, i'll see you then.

im afraid guys, due to a monumental catastrophe, I'm going to be late at best. The combine's snapped a belt and blown two bearings so it's all hands on deck to try and get her fixed before the weather turns and the next few days harvesting become a write off anyway.

Particular apologies to 18 stoner, since he was meant to be trying on my harness. I'll be there if I humanly can.

i think a big thatnk you will be winging its way to pete and dean for organising a brilliant day today especially the zip line (once it was up after much work on the surrounding trees just to clear a route for it. Good thing the local version of swampy wasn't around to witness the tree being removed just so we had a clear run). I think those of us who aren't the best climbers either through lack of experience or just starting learnt a lot today so thanks for the chance to learn new techniques , I know i did.

Thankyou Penfold, you were more than welcome mate. Hope you can make it if we hold another.

Got a load of pics, not excellent quality for some reason but hey oh I'll post some up on the picture forum and peter or anyone else can add theirs.

That little Oak was due to come out anyway, good job it did as PeteMcshefferey would have done a lot of damage to it with his head.

Day went well, wrapped up at 7pm with not one drop of rain :001_tongue:

No problem jim, i used to be in agric so i know how much pressure there is at this time of year!

As for the harness, there is always APF next month, should be plenty there. Cheers for offering anyway.
