True, but thats the cheapest pulley in town and I'm a Yorkshireman raised in Scotland: what d'ya expect.

 

 

 

You could use a second quickdraw on the other side to balance things up but tbh I dont think it needs it. The rope does'nt run on the pulley cheeks.

Bonus points for being creative, but is trying to save a few quid a good idea when it comes to your life? Sorry, probably sounds like i'm just splitting hairs!

 

I will play around with this thing over the next couple of weeks, If I think it is in any way unsafe then I won't use it. I think the only potential issue has already been mentioned and obviously I am aware of that. If any one else tries it I'd be interested to know your thoughts.
