I am approaching the keeper of grounds at grimsthorpe park about a group visit to a rather nice cluster of veteren trees mostly oaks at this park and castle and would like to get a rough idea of how many would like to go late september this year. it would be at a cost of between £10-15 unless we take catering into consideration.

anyone who would be 99% certain of going please say I, so i can give them a rough idea of group size for costings.:001_smile:

I'm presuming that this would be at a weekend in which case i'm 95% certain I'll be there. I can raise this to 99% if you can garantee good biking weather.

hark at lady muck!!!:001_smile:

One does have standards, you know. They're just not always that high :001_tongue:. I could say I'd go up on't' bike, but the reality of my fair weather, lazy arsh bikerness is that I'm far more likely to get there if I bundle in with yous lot. The risk being that I may suffer from information overload before we've even got there.

Bit far for me but if you are ever in Devon I have a perfect site for you to lead a fungi day

Some lovely big old trees most of them complete with myriad fungi!:thumbup1:
