i guess its just going to be a case of wait and see. would't fancy taking down a dead eucalyptus in some old dears back garden.

Not noticed it round here. I dismantled a large one yesterday and the leaves were green.

 

so youve possibly just murdered the last remaining healthy euc in the country? shame on you:sneaky2:

I have taken 3 down in the last week no sign of life in them at all not even any sap

One had split open at the base in 3 places, not many round here with green leaves on them

how are the cordyline your way? 98% dead in lincolnshire dozens/week

 

not many healthy looking cordies,or euc round here (south lancs) either:confused1:

Felled a dead one, seen plenty more that look dead but also a few that have no signs at all of frost damage.

 

Wonder if its certain species that are more susceptible?

two felled last week and their bark was peeling off the stem in long lengths

 

i did 2 last week also, bark had split, no sap, not even euc smell
