There have been quite a number of TV documenters about this guy, however he normally free climbs as when he dose it its normally without permission! but this time it looks like it was with permission with the obvious imposition of a safety rope given duration etc and doing it permissively.

Only when I'm slumming it over in East London.

 

Inside = definately more sensible option, especially for big girls like me! How long did the stairathon take you? And how bad were the disco legs after that???

it took just over 8 minutes to the top floor where champagne was waiting. It took the fastest bloke a mere 4 mins to make it. Apparently this is now a sport. Stair climbing. Some went off to take on the empire state building after this! The legs were fine but the lungs were burning as the air was dusty inside and it was freezing. We ran the fire escape steps. We had practiced by running the Spinnaker tower in Portsmouth.
