With all the talk on SWL and MBL everyone has forgatten the termination.

Remember when you tie a knot you can reduce the MBL by up to 50% a good splice can reduce by 10% so this needs to be taken into account when calulating your SWL.

10-1 is pretty safe mind you.

My pulley rates 7-1 so 10-1 is bomb proof 99% of the time lol.

I got a 3000kgs isc pulley 16mm with 16mm double esterlon 7350kgs and a dead sling 16mm esterlon 2800kgs or pounds.

So on that note my working limit should be 280kgs weakest link that is the snatch loading.

I see alot of you guys block down and rope but i never found a need for that so the bigger trunk i just pop off.

Any one else use similar rig.

Hey that looks good useable at least. I just cant afford that much for a hobbs or grcs or just wont pay that price maybe £999 haha.

Is that scaffold tube and angle iron. :confused1:

Its bigger than scaffold tube, its about 5-6 inch diameter, which is great for controlled lowering of big stuff, the base is angle iron though.
