Hi, would Stephen Blair and Mark Bolam please PM me their choice of A or C trouser and waist size if you are both available and willing to wear a new pair of chainsaw trousers for a month and give us your opinion both on Arbtalk and direct to me.

A comparison of like priced similiar trousers can be made as well. It would be unfair to compare them against twice the price garments.

So i invite you to take part, this way we have one North and one South.

Les

Waiting for me when I got in.

First impressions -

Light, look smart, quite form fitting (think Hiflex) - my bum definately looks big in this!, very stretchy.

They have a nice high back pad, and the zip seems ok. Poppers on the front pockets are a great idea, but the rear pocket (velcro close) won't get much use from climbers. Lacking a decent sized side pocket, or phone pocket (which may not be a bad thing!).

The braces Les sent with them are by far the best arb braces I have used, very heavy duty, great quality.

The material seems a bit flimsy (think Hiflex!). but we'll see how it wears.

I went for type C as I want to give these a genuine review, and don't normally wear A's, prefer the extra thorn and bramble protection from C's.

Pic to follow, when she's out the bath. Of me, not her.
