just got a series 2 swb truck cab.M.O.T failure as bulkheads a mess, but she runs well with 2 and quarter petrol and boxes of spares £400

Do you lot with have to take the wood chip back to the yard and return to the job for the rest very often? I love landies but it seems like they arnt the biggest load carriers...

As an ex landrover mechanic i too can vouch for their ability!! I run a 200tdi 90 which i love and goes anywhere its pointed. We have an 08 navara long way down and i wouldnt dream of taking that where i stick the 90!

With the 130 its a 3.5 ton motor the same as a transit or similar,so no disadvantages there,you can get a good days work on there if you are doing light work / reductions,but on a decent take down it is limited just like the rest in the weight category.

Is the 130 the high cap? Id still have to upgrade my licence to a C1 though. These '97 licence changes are annoying!

Its a longer version of the 110,similar to the hi cap(a 110, with a 3.5 ton gross weight).

The tipping body on mine is about 6foot 4inch by 8foot4inch,and will hold about 4 cubic metres of chip,payload of about 1.4ton.

A 110 has a wheelbase of about 110 inches,the 130 is about 130 inches,it makes a fair difference in load distribution in reality.

You can get both 110 and 130 HCPU versions. We have a 110 HCPU which is plated at 3.5t. And is regularly very close to that! Still pulls great when full too.

The 130 double cab hi-cap butt isnt as big as the 110 hi-cap butt, and 130 truck cabs arent classed as the hi-cap (HCPU).
