Unimogs rock thread

My boss is going to buy a Mitsubishi for are next truck we have been using land rovers could I convince him to go with a mog because we're always overloaded with chip . The only worry with the mog has it got room for the non chipable stuff in ton bags and are they hard to load logs on etc . Cheers for any advice

Never driven a square cab. But I imagine it is a far more comfortable experience than a u900. The amount of energy it takes to hold down the accelerator for extended periods of time is ridiculous. Im trying to think up some rudimental (but safe) form of cruise control. Also the noise in the cab will deafen you. I now wear ear defenders while driving, and it is still loud. BUT after all that. Nothing beats it in my (little) experience. Its a brilliant machine, and great fun too! :D

I think the U900 is great for urban work. They arent actually that big. And also have a great turning circle. But then there are vehicles like the mitsibishi canter that have a bigger chip box. But then they are far less versatile. The main reason i got mine was due to the low insurance. I pay £3500 to insure my ford ranger, and only £650 for the mog. (well ok the main reason was because they are awesome!)
