Please tell me this isn't the u900 listed on Atkinson Vos's website as in soon???

Phoned them on monday and i'm ment to be looking at it next week. It looks suspicously identical!!! Same chipbox even the same tyres (michelins i think).

Also does it has the torque converter fitted to the back of the box??

 

I eyeballed that mog earlier today when I was walking my dogs past Atkinson Vos. I'm only 500 yards up the road. If you need a brew when your up let me know.

Did it look upto much or in need of a bit of work?? I'm not a million miles away myself only in Stalmine the other side of st michaels.

Stephen what kind of road speed do you get from your u900?? Do you think one with a torque converter will effect top speed at all?? I know engine braking is out of the question which will be sore on the old brakes lol

Torque converter is like an auto box monted on the back of the gearbox so you press the clutch select a gear then let the clutch out and the mog wont move till you press the throttle. They where fitted to RAF aeroplane tugs. Capable of towing massive weights without burning clutch's.But it means you can't use your gears to slow down just brakes.
