Was looking at this the other day... and Tensa cone do these for around £58 +VAT for two. Sounds a better price, but only 3.6m each.

 

9m sounds like a long stretch, handy though... and cones, well cones they're free, aren't they:biggrin:

These look similar but cheaper. Like the reference to "webbing" in their brochure. Makes them sound a bit more durable. Also max length is more realistic. Still a fraction of the cost of our other barrier systems and a load handier

Noticed they use this make of system in the First Trust Bank earlier today. So I give a good testing, clicked it in and out, yanked on the webbing (bit like seat belt material) and wound it in and out - all the sort of things kids get told off doing normally when they are queing up with their parents. Appart from the strange looks from the counter staff, I also got told off by one of my kids! - Still all in the name of product testing.

 

I know it's not quite a "Which" test, but it certainly performed.

Looks interesting. How does it cope when covered with tree sap/sawdust and mud?

 

I used to use normal tape but often faded/broke and cyclists liked to drive though it as a finish line in the woods:001_rolleyes:

 

I now use orange hessian rope.
