I am 24, have a 02 plate ford ranger 2 seater cab I have valued at 3000 quid. I have no claims bonus for commercial cover ( though they supposedly knocked 200 quid off what it should have been taking my car no claims into account) and they charged me 1200 quid for own goods for gardening type work. I might switch over to firewood selling, since they won't let me insure it for both. You are right. It is not on. Some will put your premium up even if you just notify them of an accident with no claim.

There was talk of a motorway strike over insurance rules and cost a week ago. I am sad to see it not happen, as its not-on being tied to 1 vehicle 1 career, paperwork wise.

Thats with an increase by 15% from last year too. they did quote me over £1200.00 but now have a new insurer they are using. Thats fully comp any driver over 25yrs not too bad.
