Stack them properly with an air gap between each row and try to get some sun on them, makes all the difference.

 

uniform stacking makes no odds, just waste's time, warm sunshine doesnt help the wood in a 4 foot deep pile........ or neat stack!! double up on the pallets, they do look they have sunk, warm airflow, as much as poss is what you need :thumbup1::thumbup:

So a stack in deep shade will dry just as quickly as one in full sun? I don't think so!

the logs on the top of the stack would undoubtedly dry quicker in the sun, the logs as you get further into the stack wouldnt benefit from direct sunshine, hence why i suggested warm airflow would be better :001_tongue:

the best way to dry wood is wind .....end of chat ,unless you keep them in the house of course ,wind wind and more wind ,

The cheap meters are crude but good enough for logs if the batteries are fresh.
