interesting thread and some great vids,

 

i hav a sj2 which i hav used on 1 crab, not sure if this is best way though???

 

to be honest thou it has been sat on my desk for 6 months and i hav gone bak to split tail as i found sj2 hard to control, any advice??

 

also, this vid is not really a good represantation of commercial climbing, i mean the tree is massive with nice spready branches and high anchor point, im not sure if sj2 is actually anygood for the challenges of the more tricky climbs we come across in real life????

I'm still nto sure its as good for mid air adjustment than a hitch? In the video he is making some good swings but not really descending in mid air. Descending with feet on branches/trunk yes.

 

Check this video, bit old now and poor camera angle, but the jump at 0.51 and he final descents would be hard with a SJ. Apparantly he's improved since this though!
