weaver?

ive climbed with a weaver harness for over 10 years and really like it,however every other climber i talk to seems to hate them,do other more 'modern'harnesses make that much difference?on a different note after days of messing about finally got the hang of vt/hitchclimber,wow,

when i first went to work for someone they had a weaver harness and i used that for a month or so, i didn't mind it.

 

got a tree motion now for myself

Had a weaver for years and felt quite happy with it. It is being scrapped (due to LOLER and age only) and will replaced with a Treemotion.

I had a weaver for 10 years, it was still fine, but thought I should get a new harness. I got a tree motion, Its OK, but I'd rather have my old weaver and there is no way it will last 10 years...

i climb with a weaver and i love it, i have tried various others like the tree austrias, motion and petzl's and prefer the weaver on all counts. i get grief as well but as far as im concerned if you can find a good harness that works for you then what the hey
