training to climb

Hi, just posting this thread as im starting to get in to climbing ive been a groundsman for a year or so and felling for two years just wondering if anyone has any tips, ive just been and bought the treemagic 2 any reviews on this/ cheers.

yeah ive climbed a dozen or so just ive now got all the gear and the governor whats me to start climbing more so i need to know if theres anything to look out for etc i know hes going to give me a thew pointers and teach me

Get yourself to the next S/East climbing meet. Late April early May will probably be the next one.

good luck mate. all il say is regardless when you are a qualified climber, it does not make you a qualified tree surgeon... takes a bit of getting used to, but just enjoy it and go for it.

Rope clips on the front, saw on the back and strop on the side. So long as it doesn't leave you in agony it'l be just fine (you've got it now so you'll just have to try it!)
