hia i dont know if this is any use :confused1: someone i was talking to was saying that if you get a cheap mobile phone switch it to silent and hide it somewhere on your truck / caravan etc and left plugged into a charger rigged to the battery , if the worse does happen you can call the police give them the number they contact the provider and can find out where it is within meters by calling it . as i say dont know how true this is but for the sake of a tenner might be worth it you could even try to hide one on your chipper so long as you keep it charged.

there is now a product called Traakit which can be swapped from machine to machine ,if you are leaving a machine overnight you can lock it down in a 100mtr square if the object moves it will send a warning alert via e-mail or text you can also have a trail show on your phone or laptop showing where it is going, lone workers can also be tracked bythe fact you can see where they are so at least you know where to look if they dont report in.

WoodChip there is strength in numbers and if the members of this organization banned together and fight back as a group I am convinced that the number of reported members of stolen kit would drop and I dare say the Police may also take more notice since they would be forced to deal with the crime. After all the kit does not belong to the criminals it belongs to the men and women of ArbTalk!

tell the police your kit has been stolen, but track it yourself with this Mobile Phone Spy - Cell Phone Recon Spy Only £89.99! FREE UK Delivery

we had a Minorplanet tracking system on all our vans when we had them, it was linked to a website that you could access anytime and from anywhere with a username and password, it was accurate to within meters and saved a number of quad bikes! unsure of the cost of this but it paid for itself in saving stuff.
