Evening

I reently posted a thread saying that i'm going to be clearing a 29 acre site of Birch and Pine once all the paperwork etc is sorted.

I'm allowed to burn what I want on this site and that was my plan, but....If I chipped all the waste would I be able to sell it bulk to anyone?? Im sure I read on here somewhere that some firms will come load it and take it away. Is that the case?:confused1:

I know it's probably not going to make the greatest return but every bit of cash counts!

Please shoot me down if I'm talking nonsense but I'd appreciate any advice given.

you'd prod do job lot quicker by havin fire and price of woodchip wouldn't justify the time and expense of chippin.. i get £6 ton for my woodchip and i load it.. roughly £160 for big walking floor bulker full..

Ditto Nick.

And how would you cook your sausages?

On the radiator of the Jenz?

Would it not be possible to sell the timber for firewood?

I suppose so, didnt read it that way the first time.

If its just lop and top then burning it where it falls is going to be cheaper than chipping, extracting, and loading, all for a measly few £ a tonne.

Just had to have an impromptu hair cut this afternoon as i was having a brash fire this morning and i got a bit to close. My eyebrows are now thinned and bushy and what hair thats not been lost down the plug hole frazzled in quite spectacular style. My eyelashes were also kinda stuck together....

Great fun for a fri morning though!
