Little story behind this.

we had a very small take down,that i had in for £50 about 20 mins work nice end of the day job if we got an early finish for some beer money any way i did the job and the womman told me she had been quoted £180....when she told them i had quoted 50 this ass hole told her i must be a pikey,she then showed me this very nice little bit of paper he had posted through the door with a tick for tree work box and a mobile number,she told me one of her nieghbours had used him and by the way by the lurvely tears and the way he mutilated this ailanthus this dude deserves to be on rouge traders

yeah thats 'quality' pikey work! ... Though I i think less of them are doing 'tree work' at the mo ..as theres much easier money to be made carrying out really really poor quality bock paving ...oh and especially stealing scrap metal from churches, road signs, drain covers and the traditional wire copper thieving from your local electrician...

not that im pointing fingers or anything.

That is a tremendous example of a moron who thinks he's a tree surgeon. The culprit must be so dumb and arrogant that he actually charged to do it and slated a pro arborist to boot!

All that tree is good for now is hanging.

I come across this sort of thing occasionally. Weekenders who otherwise work in a factory, retired policemen, all sorts who just fancy themselves as tree surgeons but fail to learn the job properly.

The client must take some responsibility.
