We used to think the TM was a flying machine, very fast and very powerful. So much so they kept getting written off by young squaddies.

 

We had just taken delivery of them to replace the MK's though

Underpowered - 200hp overstressed bus engine.

Payload of 8 tonnes on a six wheeler crane truck? I could get 16 tonnes on my Iveco.

Max speed of 50mph, but takes about an hour to get up to speed.

about 5-8 mpg
