im not sure what the poll would achieve though in fairness.

it might show the level of support for free entry

also dean has a point but we need to start somewhere and if we get a result in 2 years time then its been worth it

besides we all know how long it takes to change things in our industry.

send a link to the forestry journal too...that will ruffel some feathers!!!!

I know it cost and that is the Issue but is £15 really enough to make you consider not going. Thats only a largeish round at a pub.

I can cope paying 15 buckeroonies its not life and death.

Jamie

Jamie,

I know what you mean but just at the moment I have to justify everything I spend. Its the whole cost inc loss of income from time off.

ps Dont go to the pub, spent too much time on arbtalk :001_smile:

Good thread Lee, I've long felt that the APF is a Total ripoff. Look at how many exhibotors are there paying top money. Then add at least 10,000 paying punters...

It does'nt cost to get into Elmia or Interforst, so is it just another case of ripoff Britain?

My input is;

I will be going with the missus, therefore £30.

One of the reasons for going is that there are good discounts. Paying the entry fee makes that lees inviting.

Its a struggle to get round the show in one day, but would go two days if it was free, and therefore purchase more, therefore better for the stands.
