To be...Qualified or not to be...Qualified?

So why do arb insurance forms that we fill in each year have a yes/no box to check to indicate if staff are qualified or not? If I was to tick no would they still insure me? Perhaps with higher premiums? And then if something happened surely you'd be covered?

Tickets are a joke if you were brought up around the arb industry an learnt from a younge age.

If you were brought up in the concrete jungle and until you watched heli loggers you thought a Chainsaw was something you got from a cheap necklace then doing a basic course is a good start.

There is no excuse really for not being qualified, you dont have to do the training, for quite a few of mine I just read the assesment schedule and booked the assesment.Insurance companies are just not going to pay out if something happens and you aint got the tickets.

Here we go again :001_rolleyes:

Please give a real example of this.

My mate just had a insurance quote to take out some insurance from one of the guys advertising on the right of this page.

It CLEARLY says Must have NPTC or Lantra ITA to be covered

Doing one new unit or redoing one, is seen as a refresher.

Not something I subscribe to personally.

Only if it is relevant

Not all insurers are the same.

Obviously if its a condition of your policy, you will not be covered with it.
