Hi all,

I work in Delamere Forest (not for F.C) and this plant is everywhere, about 2 foot high in some places but mostly about 1 foot high. Spotted it last year but this year it looks alot more dense.

Any ideas folks?

Yeah you are right, it never gets leaves. Has buds on them in a "zig zag" pattern,

Been looking and asking about this for over a year now and still no definate answer, even the guys at the forestry commission office do not know...

If you ever find yourself in Delamere Forest (Cheshire) walk past the GoApe site and there you go: BANG, its everywhere.
