I saw it in Alaska for a few weeks when I was there. We would sleep in bivis on the mountains and lie there (not sleeping obviously) watching the lights. Totally awsome. When we met some locals they said it was the best show they had seen in years too so I felt very lucky!

I was lucky enough to see a spectacular display in Iceland a couple of years ago :thumbup:. It would be amazing to be able to see them in this country, but I wonder if there's too much light polution even in the wilds oop norf?
