I find plenty of people that want woodchip but they never want to pay for it lol. If you can get enough bags filled up then it is prob best to get a company in to come and take the lot away for you, get around £10 a bag i think. Better than nought. Need room to store and heavy equipment to fill the bags though. Does anyone make any good money from woodchip?

I have local tree surgeon that drops of arisings in my yard for free he asked me if i would be intrested in taking the woodchip of him also for free, i was just wondering if there was any money in it? and if i can bag it up the same day as he brings it in then sell it on at a profit? is there any sort of chippings i should stay away from ie conni and the likes? thanks Egg.

mix it all together,it all blends in ,in time

we tryed bagging it fresh ,more of a ballache realy ,pile it up & keep turning it with a tractor

were you charging for delivery on the bulk bags? did you leave the bag with the customer? if so did you put a deposit on the bags thanks Egg.

 

£30 inc deliveries with min 6 bulk bags and reasonable distance. If the person needed/wanted less then could collect in sacks on a Saturday from site. (Bulk bags are often classed a single trip and we had a good source)

 

Mulch chip was less due to being mixed materials.
