Got a phone call this morning to go out to the job there was a bit of a problem.........

 

My tractor driver tried a gear change up a steep incline tractor started rolling back he must have panicked and ended up like this.

 

walked away with a few scratches on his arm and a good ear bashing.

I did the same thing on my first day of work experience:blushing: i panicked and didn't want the to jam on the brakes and before i knew it i was up the bank at the edge of the road. Luckily a jcb was round the corner to get me back on all four wheels and back to work, all that was broke were indicators and rear window phew

waiting on the ins assessor to look at it, mechanic says its a write off wouldnt mind but got the tractor at a good price and its going to be hard to find another so clean.

chipper was a schliesing 220 should be able to sort it out badly bent shoot and hopper and snapped toplink and two lift arm pins, havent checked the internals yet but would make a bet theyare ok schliesings are pretty bullet proof

LOL! glad everyone is ok.

 

+1 on the brake pedal lock. I don't see how it could have happened unless something like this is the case. A gear change? dread to think what his own car looks like! :/
