You really are making me miss London and working in Camden!

 

Shame I wasn't able to or had the photographic flare to take any shots of tree or tree pruning works in London.

 

I do remember the presentation you gave at an LTOA meeting at HH on pruning cuts, think I have some photos but wont post them!

Whats at the top of the steps? Is there a house where they may have lived or were they out walking?

Its called Judges Walk.

 

Immeadiately after the great fire the courts were temporarily held at Hampstead Assizes & the Judges would walk along the avenue of trees at the top of this path whilst considering their verdict.....hence the name.

Revisiting something from earlier in the thread.

 

Shot taken from work of the construction of the Shard, then a few images taken this weekend from the 69th floor.

 

View of the capital was pretty decent but couldn't see work as it was a bit too gloomy.

It is surprising how a city looks so deferent when viewed from a high vantage point, this is edinburgh when viewed from Blackford hill, looks like a park....

 

Wow, that's a fantastic shot, I can hardly believe it's actually Edinburgh. At first sight it certainly didn't look like anything anywhere near the UK
