Oh yeah, registering for the road is no problem here, however I have heard that for insurance, sports quads can cost about 3times the cost of a car to insure!! But I dunno how true this is. As mine is registered as a Light Agricultural Vehicle (small tractor), the insurance is the same as a tractor at £105 per/annum. Dont look anywhere near as cool as the sports ones tho'!! :D

Raced karts in my late 20's - that is my son, national champ in his class - I do my speeds on human powered bicycles. Top on a down hill is 46 mph in 1.5 miles . I also do rallies on the miata - google tail of the dragon. top speed on that is 38 mph - curves and more curves.
