I think most of the pro range at least are exactly the same as a comparable husky model, just in red plastic instead of orange and with a straight top handlebar to use as a felling mark.

for example, the Jonsered 2171 is exactly the same underneath as the Husqvarana 372xp

Jonsered 2165 = Husqvarna 365

etc etc...

This is my 630 special II, one of their best and every bit as good as a Husky, solid bullet proof construction, big fat crank bearings and will last for years.

Sometimes viewed as a poorer cousin to Huskys but don't put them down.

Nice block paving!!!!

The only reason to dismiss Jonsered saws is if dealer support is a must for you. I believe there is only one main dealer in the UK which is less than ideal, but if you are buying second hand then you will be quids in as they don't go for anywhere near as much as the Husky sisters do. I was interested in a 2156 which came up on ebay, went for £185 iirc, compare that to what the 357xp's are selling for then there is about a £50-£60 difference! An amount not to be sniffed at in todays climate! Many Husqvarna parts fit the J-red's so i don't think parts would ever be an issue.

2152 = 353 (i think!)

2153 = 346xp

2156 = 357xp

2159 = 359

2165 = 365

2171 = 371xp

2172 = 372xp

i'm lost now. lol :)

HTH.
