Repainting?

I've been having ideas run through my head again. With all this kit getting stolen left right and centre. Whats the feasability of painting saws in different colours to make them different to others. I was thinking of re colouring the orange panels on a couple of saws that I take out a lot.

What would be the best way of making the paint stick and for it to stay on? I can imagine it would chip off quite easily. Would making the texture of the plastic rough by rubbing it down with glasspaper or using a dremel be a good way?

Thoughts please!

Yeah, i guess you would need to key it in somehow. Use a decent plastic primer. Maybe even some laquer after the paint.

Were you thinking of Painting them pink???

bright orange.

oh wait...

I was thinking red or blue, red would match my boots! Blue would look good.

I suppose id have to buy new plastic if its too dirty, plus then i have an extra set if it goes wrong!

Brand a business logo onto the plastic areas and use some Selecta Dna stickers.

i am currently sorting out some stickers with name address and number on them, there is a sticker from my supplier on there, i will ask them for another one to put on so i will have a distinctive looking piece of kit.
