small harnesses

have you tried a tree magic?

 

the other harness im trying at the moment is the Heightec Bee http://www.sevsafe.co.uk/acatalog/Heightec_Arborists__Harnesses_and_accessories.html which is actually quite a comfy harness......i know the tree hopper seems popular with female climbers, i think this does adjust quite small.

 

I have a Treemagineers. I have a 32-34" waist. And there load of adjustment. Have even got my misses in it. and she is built like a rake. In my View the best harness out there..

sorry your right steve. Tree Motion. Another plus side is the padding comes off. So at the end of a wet day you can pull the padding off and dry it out on the radiator. Nothing worse than a wet harness. Well apart from wet ropes I guess.

Hi bushbaby, i have quite a few harness' that we use at the college i work at.

 

Buckingham masters seems the one that we usually use for smaller people and kids if we do a taster day.

 

the petzle go small and the edelrid tree magic go small.

 

If you want a well built and bomb proof harness though, i would go the buckingham way for small fit every time. Most of the smaller ladies we have had on arb courses in the past liked them the best.

 

Am in Lancahire so if you wanted to try a few first we have around thirty of differing sorts.

 

Although the apf would be a good place to try as well.

Hello! I'm also female and sort of slender (34" hips) and have just started climbing. The only harness I've used is a Tree Magic but it fits well and is very comfy.

Ring noddy at treeworker the backaline comes in a small size, all the climbers i have employed over the past years have changed to them as they are just right for the job. Lovely big padded lower back section.

 

Also upper and leg loops can be changed if one wears or is damaged without replaceing the whole belt.
