Pricing - too high?

Just lost a Large Willow takedown. Quoted £475 and the client said it was a fair price.

 

Then he rings me tonight and apologises, he had a quote in for £380.

 

I can't drop my price by that amount, you just lose face by doing that game.

 

Let him get on with it.

 

I'm splitting Russian Oak all day instead!:thumbup:

the trick on this one is to - start the job there and then, just fire up the saw cut a couple of branches, do some tests, check parking, move thier car/trailer/caravan/shed - anything to show your commited - make a date, take a deposit of £10>£50 and ask them to sign the agreed price.

 

hook, line and sinker!

 

Then convince them that they could get their money back 3 fold by selling the chip and logs :lol: :lol: :lol:
